THE LENS CUFF QARC:

  • Attach accessories 25mm from the base of the Lens Cuff Lite and the Lens Cuff Pro (choose the base that fits your Lens Cuff)
  • 1/4 20 thumbscrew with rosette

FAQ

Any Lens with a barrel diameter between 57.5mm and 114mm will match with a Lens Cuff and the provided step down rings. Stills lenses with protrusions for side switches can easily be accommodated using step down rings.

ThE LEns Cuff must have at least 10mm (3/8″) on a non-moving segment of the lens body. The provided inserts also require 10mm (3/8″) on a non-moving segment of the lens body. 5mm wide inserts will be available at a later time based on demand.

Ideal placement is on a non rotating segment of the lens between the Focus, Iris or Zoom rings. Alternatively ThE LEns Cuff may be attached anywhere on the lens where the barrel is tubular and not conical (angled).

Each LEns Cuff is is engineered to last and comes with a Full 10 Year warranty against manufacturing defects. Just email us your serial number at service@thelenscuff.com and we’ll take care of the rest.

It is recommended to position up to two motors on each side of ThE LEns Cuff. Ideally, go for symmetry.
If rigging a prime lens, one on each side for Focus and Iris.
If rigging a zoom lens, two on one side and the third one on the other. It won’t affect the performance but it will affect the balance of your setup.

Technically all three motors for F I & Z can be attached on the same side. Performance will not be affected, but where balance is critical, it will make a big difference.

Simple, it is easy to maintain, hard wearing and protective! On top of that, it’s eco-friendly, and sustainable. We chose Anthracite original Alcantara® fabric after testing a number of options, from microfibre to chamois, leather and nylon. The pouches will protect your gear when you toss a LEns Cuff in your bag and the non-woven fabric can also be used to wipe your glasses in a pinch. It is easy to clean.
